Bob-Bob-Bobareno is back, back behind the kit, and yes those are Darth Maul Drawers!! Not every-one is so lucky to have a drummer who can vaccum with his pants down.. Now if only it was a Russian Lady, that would be a sight to see! But Bob has to be in rare form for his mistriss to appear.....................

Anyway, Bob has been drumming since he was a little teen screaming out the lyrics to Poison and Guns & Roses. Inspired by big hair and tight pants Bob rocked OC and LA and even has the photo at the Roxy, on stage, long hair, no shirt. He'd lived the dream, so he re-comBoberated and found himself drumming for the rap/rock band Cid. So they record a CD, and are about to sign on the dotted line....but that dream would have been too restricting. Finding inspiration from drummers like Carter Bouford and Jon Fishman, Bob found himself auditioning for a jammy group of guys named Grampas Grass. But he had just recorded an album. So time goes by and three months later, after numerous phone calls from John, and many "Well if your not happy with what you're doing musically Bob, do something about it and jam with other people doing different music. See what else is out there." Bob found himself at the Galaxy Theatre opening up for Tim Reynolds with the Grass (Dave Ryan couldn't make the show for religious reasons). And the era of JamGrass was born (this was pre-Lisa folks, back in the heart of the Dave Ryan days, when 20 minute jams were a great way to open a show). Many sweet shows, endless jams in the garage, hack breaks, and awesome musical moments later, Bob parted ways with the band. July 5th, 2002 at di Pazza's was a crossroads in Grass history, since his last show was to be the last with Tim Kerrigan and Dave Ryan (well for awhile that is). And almost two years later Bob is back again renewed and ready to forge a new era with the Grass.

And if you get the chance at one of the shows, go up to Bob and welcome him back. And then you can ask him if he's sat in any gum. On second thought maybe you shouldn't.
