After trading in his greasy slide trombone at age 14 for a Fender Bass, Tim has never looked back. As a New Jersey native, he had the advantage of seeing and hearing many diverse bands that passed through New York City and New Jersey. As a result of this, he aquired an appreciation for everyone from Slayer to Sinatra.

Some of Tim's favorite players: John Paul Jones, Phil Lesh, Paul Mcartney, Berry Oakley, Brad Smith, Leon Wilkeson, Mingus, Jaco.......(and many others). Tim migrated to California in the mid-nineties and spent 5 years soaking in the San Fran Bay Area scene. After relocating to Orange county, he met Grampas Grass and was gigging with them 2 weeks later. He found the band to be an excellent blend of songwriting and improvisational freedom (as well as a great group of people).

When Tim's not working or playing the bass, you can likely find him climbing a mountain or peddling a bike along one of California's beautiful shorelines.
